Welcome from the Headteacher

On behalf of all the pupils, staff and governors of Millbrook Community Primary School, I would like to extend to you a very warm welcome to our website; thank you for taking the time to visit us online.

I hope that you will find all the information that you require to provide you with a thorough understanding of our school.

Millbrook is a wonderful, happy and vibrant school where the pupils are the heart and soul of everything we do. It is a pleasure and a privilege to be part of such an amazing community where relationships are fostered and valued at all levels.

At Millbrook, we create an environment where all members feel valued and secure. We are committed to continuous improvement where each pupil is encouraged to flourish by providing a happy, secure and stimulating environment. We continuously strive to build on and improve our standards by develop teaching and learning throughout the school in order to maximize the potential of all children in our care. All pupils are given the best opportunity to achieve their full potential and to develop confidence, openness, trust, responsibility, compassion, self-esteem, tolerance and respect for all. Our pupils are encouraged to have high aspirations and to be the best that they can be.

We pride ourselves in having strong partnerships with parents and carers, the parish of St Chads, other local primary schools and the wider school community. Our parents are our advocates and frequently recommend us to others.

I hope you enjoy browsing our website and if you wish to find out more, please feel free to contact the school office to arrange a visit. If you are considering applying for a place at Millbrook, please ring to arrange an appointment and we will be happy to give you a tour of the school.

If you require paper copies of any of the information on this website then do let us know and we will be happy to provide this.

With best wishes,

Mrs Jane Maloney
