Resilience
We are focusing on RESILIENCE in school. We are aiming to improve our resilience by not giving up, working hard, pushing ourselves and not giving up. Class 4 are making a video about resilience. Today in assembly, we focused on JK Rowling and celebrated how she overcame challenges when first writing Harry Potter.

Bagels, bagels, bagels!
The National School Breakfast Programme
I am delighted to share the news that our school has joined the government’s National School Breakfast Programme (NSBP), which is being delivered by the charities ‘Family Action and Magic Breakfast’.
As a NSBP School we are pleased to offer a healthy school breakfast, available to all, and enjoy the benefits that brings, with children settled and ready to learn at the start of the school day. Bagels will be available on the infant and junior playground between 8.40 and 8.45 each morning.
Be Bright Be Seen
The Be Bright Be Seen flyer has been displayed in all classes and used as a discussion point in class. This year there is an art competition for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. It is hoped that parents and guardians will work with their children and this will help to ensure that they are considering the issue of visibility as the nights draw in. Class teachers have been asked to send a photo of the winning entry which should be bright AND reflective to roadsafety@knowsley.gov.uk by Friday 15th November. The winners will receive prizes!
