Welcome to Rowan Class

Welcome to Rowan class! We have made a fantastic start to Year 3 and the beginning of our Key Stage Two journey. We will be learning lots of new skills this year as well as developing our independence and our confidence and we will have lots of fun along the way. We have already produced some fantastic work!

Please use class dojo for all of the Rowan class updates and for any questions that you may have.

School day:

Start 9:50am
Lunch 12pm -12:55pm
Finish 3:20pm

PE:

Rowan PE days are Tuesday and Wednesday. Children to come to school wearing Millbrook PE kit (red polo shirt/T-shirt, Black shorts/leggings/joggers and sensible sport shoes/trainers).

Please note PE days are subject to change throughout the year please check dojo for updates.

Homework:

Children will be given homework every Monday to be returned on Friday. All homework will consist of spellings and a consolidation activity related to either English or Maths from the week.

Reading:

Please encourage children to read each night and sign their planners with the number of pages read. Please return planners each day to be checked and have their reading books changed if needed.

TT Rockstars:

Please encourage children to access TT Rockstars to strengthen their multiplication skills. I will be setting challenges throughout the year and we will be challenging other classes too!
